Time zone
We are located in India that falls in the time zone of GMT + 5.30Hours (OR) EST + 10.30 Hours. Our normal work timings are 9 Am to 7 PM. We also follow exceptional timings for the benefit of projects. We interact with USA customers on their Morning time. If we could start our discussion at 6 PM (for us) (i.e.) 8.30 Am for US based clients, then we shall have discussion for 1 to 2 hours daily.
Resources
We are having 20 + professionals, with them we can handle 5 different projects at a time. We always have a Buffer team at R&D whom we pull in to start some Emergency work if required, so that we can start projects immediately. Only after looking at your exact requirement, we shall give you the delivery schedule. We will dedicate one Project Manager cum senior programmer for each project exclusively, so that there won�t be any communication gap & we maintain one point contact.
Our systems in designing and development are well configured to handle multiple activities. We have high speed internet connections (2mbps) and Backup connections from three different ISPs to maintain the online availability invariable of server failure at ISP end.

Methodology
(i) After initial discussion with you, we will prepare a Software Requirement Specification (SRS) that will describe the functional requirements, user interface, database design and report design. The SRS will be submitted to you for approval.
(ii) Once SRS is approved, we will develop a prototype of the application and send to you for evaluation. Evaluation parameters typically include adherence to specifications as per SRS.
(iii) Fine-tuning the application.
(iv) Testing the software at each and every stage of development is an integral part of our development.
(v) We shall send you the software for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). On successful completion of UAT we expect the feedback & evaluation.
(vi) Payment Terms:
a) 30% advance.
b) 30% on middle of the project.
c) 30% on submission of working prototype (beta release).
d) 10% on successful completion of UAT.
(vii) Scope of Work: Detailed scope of work will be as per SRS developed in consultation.

SQL Server
Data access layer in our applications are designed for performance. We use functions, stored procedure, cursors, and triggers with optimized set of SQL statements. Tables are framed in the basis of normalization. Jobs, scheduling and other packages are used to perform the backup and DTS operations in the database.
We have developed a DTS project to create a Data Mart (monthly, weekly & Station Mart) for the Carlson Loyalty System for Exxon Mobile (XOM). This project extracts the data from Carlson Loyalty System, external source and performs data transformation according to the specified business rule. Then it loads the data to Data Mart in MS SQL Table. Importing the tables from csv files and SQL tables are done by MS SQL DTS tools. This process can be scheduled at week or month interval.
Data will be extract from the above Data Mart and further transform into reporting format to cater for specific report.
We use the followings conventions for Query Optimization.
We use views and stored procedures instead of heavy-duty queries.
We use table variables instead of temporary tables
We use UNION ALL statement instead of UNION, whenever possible.
We avoid using the DISTINCT clause, whenever possible.
We avoid using SQL Server cursors, whenever possible.
The usage and avoidance of above functions are to make query to get executed fast.
